VMC Machine operator

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate VMC machines (Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi control) as per production requirements.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, job sheets, and CNC programs.

• Perform tool offset, work offset, and coordinate system settings as required.

• Ensure first piece inspection and maintain dimensional accuracy during production.

• Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning to ensure optimal performance.

• Troubleshoot machining or dimensional issues and communicate with supervisors for corrective actions.

• Monitor cutting conditions (feeds, speeds, coolant) to ensure part quality and tool life.

• Maintain proper documentation of production reports, inspection reports, and machine history.

• Follow all safety and quality protocols in the workplace.
