Junior Advocate

Core responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel: Offer expert advice to company stakeholders on a wide range of legal matters. 

• Ensure compliance: Monitor and ensure the company adheres to all relevant laws and regulations. 

• Draft and review documents: Prepare and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements to ensure they are legally sound and protect the company's interests. 

• Risk management: Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks for the organization. 

• Manage disputes: Handle and coordinate legal disputes and litigation efforts. 

• Legal research: Conduct research and analyze legal issues to provide legal opinions and support decision-making.

• Provide training: Educate employees and management on new and existing compliance requirements and legal changes. 

• Investigate violations: Look into compliance issues, document findings, and recommend corrective actions. 

• Advise management: Act as a liaison with senior management and department heads to advise on legal and regulatory risks. 

• Stay informed: Keep up-to-date on new laws and regulations, and update company policies and training accordingly. 

• Maintain documentation: Keep meticulous records of training, audits, investigations, and other compliance activities for legal protection.
