Sales Executive / Sales Manager – Tile Sector
Location: Mumbai and MMR Region
Reporting To: HOD – Finish Team

About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Professional with experience in the Tile & Ceramics materials industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing sales operations, client relations, procurement coordination, sampling, logistics, and quotation preparation. This is a multifaceted role that requires excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
Develop and maintain relationships with architects, builders, interior designers, dealers, and contractors.
Identify new business opportunities and generate leads for tile sales (domestic and/or export).
Prepare and deliver product presentations and samples to potential clients.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Quotation & Negotiation
Prepare accurate quotations, pricing proposals, and tender documents.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to ensure profitability.
Follow up on quotations and convert inquiries into confirmed orders.
Procurement & Coordination
Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers for product availability, quality checks, and order fulfillment.
Manage procurement timelines and ensure cost-effective purchasing.
Oversee the sampling process – arrange, dispatch, and track samples for clients.
Logistics & Order Management
Coordinate order processing, dispatch schedules, and logistics to ensure timely deliveries.
Track shipments and maintain communication with clients regarding delivery status.
Handle import/export documentation (if applicable).
Customer Service & Relationship Management
Ensure high customer satisfaction through regular follow-ups and post-sale support.
Handle client feedback, complaints, and returns efficiently.
Maintain client database and sales records using CRM or ERP software.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in tiles & ceramics materials industry.
Strong knowledge of tile products, designs, finishes, and market trends.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM/ERP systems.
Ability to multitask, manage timelines, and work independently.
Key Attributes:
Self-motivated and target-oriented.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail with a sense of aesthetics (advantageous for design discussions).
Willingness to travel within the region.
