Field Support Engineer

Position: Field Server Engineer
Location: Mumbai (Reporting from Home)
Experience: 0-3 years
Qualification: BCA / B.Sc IT / BE or B.Tech (IT/CS)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform server hardware replacement, part swaps, and component-level troubleshooting at client locations.

• Diagnose hardware issues related to servers, storage, and related components.

• Execute field service activities as per instructions and assigned schedules.

• Attend customer sites across Nagpur or Pune region for break-fix and support calls.

• Perform installation, configuration, and basic support for server hardware.

• Coordinate with remote support teams for escalation and resolution.

• Ensure timely completion of assigned calls and maintain service quality standards.

• Maintain service reports, documentation, and update call status regularly.

• Follow company guidelines, field procedures, and adhere to safety protocols.

• Provide professional on-site support ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of server hardware, components, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.

• Experience with HP, Dell, Lenovo, or similar server brands (preferred).

• Good understanding of operating system basics (Windows/Linux) for troubleshooting.

• Ability to work independently in the field and manage daily calls.

• Good communication skills and customer-handling abilities.

• Must be willing to travel within assigned territory
