Job Summary:

Sevalaya is seeking a responsible and experienced Driver to support the organization’s transportation needs. The Driver will be responsible for safely operating organization vehicles to transport staff, students, materials, and other resources as required. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and commitment to Sevalaya’s mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely drive organization vehicles for official purposes as directed by the Admin/Transport Coordinator.

• Ensure the vehicle is in good operating condition through regular maintenance and timely servicing.

• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle (interior and exterior) at all times.

• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and travel logs.

• Adhere to traffic rules and ensure the safety of passengers and goods.

• Assist in the loading and unloading of materials or supplies as required.

• Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or incidents immediately to the supervisor.

• Maintain confidentiality and uphold Sevalaya’s values and ethics while on duty.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum 8th standard education (or equivalent).

• Valid Light / Heavy Motor Vehicle (LMV/HMV) driving license.

• Minimum of 3 years of driving experience, preferably with NGOs, schools, or institutions.

• Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.

• Physically fit and alert.

• It is a Full Time Driver job for candidates with 4 - 6+ years Experience.
