Interior Designer

About the Role: 

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Interior Design Head to lead our design department and manage client projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of AI-based design tools, have excellent communication and negotiation skills, and demonstrate proven expertise in managing clients, budgets, and creative teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all interior design projects from ideation to execution.

• Use AI-powered design platforms to enhance creativity, visualizations, and workflow efficiency.

• Conduct and manage client meetings for requirement gathering, presentations, and approvals.

• Supervise and mentor the design team, ensuring design consistency and quality output.

• Prepare project budgets, BOQs, and ensure cost-effective solutions aligned with client expectations.

• Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and contractors for seamless project delivery.

• Monitor progress, maintain timelines, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

• Stay updated on latest design trends, materials, and AI advancements in the interior industry.

Key Result Areas (KRAs):

• 2D Design Development – Prepare detailed 2D layouts, working drawings, and furniture plans.

• PPT Creation – Develop impactful PowerPoint presentations for internal and client reviews.

• BOQ Preparation – Prepare comprehensive Bills of Quantities aligned with project requirements.

• Handover File Creation – Compile detailed handover files with final drawings and specifications.

• Concept Presentation (PPT) – Design visually appealing concept decks with mood boards and material palettes.

• Client Meetings – Lead client discussions for design briefings, updates, and final approvals.

• Design Team Management – Guide and monitor design team members to ensure timely deliverables.

• Client Budget Creation – Prepare and manage budgets keeping client expectations and design scope in mind.

• Excel Work & Data Management – Maintain all project-related data, cost sheets, and progress trackers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design / Architecture or related field.

• 8–10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.

• Hands-on experience with AI-based design tools (Midjourney, RoomGPT, Planner 5D AI, etc.).

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, V-Ray, Photoshop, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and client negotiation skills.

• Strong leadership and project management capabilities.

• Ability to multitask and deliver high-quality results within deadlines.
