Job Description – Senior Accountant

Position: Senior Accountant

Location: Bandra East (BKC), Mumbai
 

Summary

We, Venture Studio Capital LLP (VSC) www.venturestudiocapital.com are hiring for an experienced Senior Accountant to handle daily accounting, ensure accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and provide strategic financial support. The role includes managing audits and strengthening financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare/review financial statements, MIS, and monthly/quarterly closings.
  
  

• Manage Account Payable /Account Receivable, bank reconciliations, general ledger, and online payments.
  
  

• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
  
  

• Monitor budgets, forecasts, and perform variance analysis.
  
  

• Coordinate with auditors and ensure smooth internal/statutory audits complete.
  
  

• Maintain strong internal controls and systems.
  
  

• Support cash flow, fund planning, cost optimization, business growth reports..
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Accounting/Finance; CA/ICWA preferred.
  
  

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance.
  
  

• Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and online banking.
  
  

• Analytical, problem-solving mindset with strong leadership skills.
  
  

Experience

• CA firm experience will be preferable. 

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Senior Accountant.
