Senior Accountant

Position Title: Senior Accountant

Department: Accounts & Finance

Location: Mumbai

Reporting To: Plant Manager / Director

Number of Positions: 01

Experience Required: 5–7 years in Accounting & Finance (preferably in manufacturing/trading sector).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handle day-to-day accounting operations including ledger posting, bank reconciliation, accounts receivable/payable, and payroll.

2. Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

3. Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations.

4. Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors.

5. Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and variance analysis.

6. Monitor cash flow and ensure timely vendor and client payments.

7. Generate MIS/Daily reports and provide financial insights to management.

8. Supervise junior accounts staff and ensure accuracy in accounting records.

9. Maintain confidentiality and ensure adherence to accounting standards.

 Qualification & Skills:

B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.

CA Inter preferred.

Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / SAP or similar accounting software.

Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and financial reporting.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and team-handling ability.

Salary Range: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month (based on qualification & experience).

Prior experience in manufacturing / engineering sector preferred.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Strong ethical and professional standards.
