Key responsibilitiesDebt recovery: Contacting customers with overdue accounts via phone, email, or in-person to collect payments or negotiate repayment plans. Account management: Evaluating and prioritizing accounts for collection based on factors like amount owed and days overdue. Negotiation: Proposing and negotiating repayment plans and deadlines with customers in a tactful manner. Record keeping: Maintaining accurate and updated records of all collection activities, customer interactions, and payment status in the company database. Dispute resolution: Acting as a liaison to resolve client queries, discrepancies, or conflicts related to payments. Reporting: Providing regular reports to management on collection status, outstanding debts, and progress toward targets. Compliance: Ensuring all collection efforts and transactions comply with legal and company policies.
