Position Overview

Title: Audit Manager
Location: Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh (or as specified)
Reporting To: Head of Finance / Chief Financial Officer

The Audit Manager will lead both internal and external audit activities, ensuring compliance, optimizing risk management, and enhancing internal control processes across financial, operational, and project-driven aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Audit Planning & Execution

• Devise and implement comprehensive audit plans—covering financial, operational, project-level, and compliance audits—aligned with Vatsplus's objectives .

• Identify and evaluate potential risks and control gaps throughout EPC and solar operations.

• Lead audit testing, collect and analyze audit evidence, and document findings clearly.

Team Leadership & Development

• Supervise and mentor audit staff, including task allocation, review of their workpapers, and professional development.

• Organize tailored training sessions to enhance team capability and adapt to evolving regulations and internal systems.

Reporting & Follow-up

• Prepare and present comprehensive reports highlighting findings, risks, and corrective recommendations to senior management LHHThe GitLab Handbook.

• Track and monitor the implementation of audit recommendations until resolution.

• Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies when needed.

Process Improvement & Compliance

• Recommend enhancements to internal controls, business processes, and policies.

• Ensure compliance with applicable financial, contractual, regulatory, and industry-specific norms relevant to solar and infrastructure sectors.

Innovation & Analytics

• Champion the use of audit software and analytics tools (e.g., ACL, IDEA, TeamMate, or ERP platforms like SAP/Oracle) to elevate audit effectiveness.

• Explore automation and continuous auditing techniques to drive efficiency Wikipedia.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; Master’s, CA, CIA, or CISA preferred

• Experience: Minimum 5–8 years in audit or accounting roles with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity; experience in infrastructure, EPC, or solar sectors is a plus.
