Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with 2–4 years of experience in a mid-level company. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in bookkeeping, Tally software, MIS reporting, and MS Excel, along with good communication skills and exposure to various accounting procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely bookkeeping.

• Handle accounting entries in Tally ERP.

• Prepare and maintain MIS reports on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.

• Manage accounts payable & receivable processes.

• Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny.

• Assist in GST return preparation and compliance.

• Maintain vendor and customer account records.

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Coordinate with internal departments for financial data and reporting.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Bookkeeping & Accounting Principles

• Hands-on experience in Tally ERP

• Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas)

• Experience in preparing MIS Reports

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Understanding of GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliances

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
