Job Description

The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy in accounting processes. This role involves handling daily bookkeeping, maintaining ledgers, reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, and assisting in budgeting and audits.Key Responsibilities:Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.Prepare and verify financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.Record journal entries and reconcile bank statements.Handle accounts payable and receivable.Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.Ensure compliance with accounting principles and tax regulations.Support internal and external audits.Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory filings (if applicable).Monitor cash flow and financial transactions.Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial data.Basic understanding of taxation and compliance.Effective communication and organizational skills.
