Accountant – Manufacturing & Export Operations

About the Company

DOSTAN MACHINES is a fast-growing manufacturer of Ice Cream and Dairy Processing Machinery, delivering turnkey plant solutions across India and international markets. Our machines are supplied to customers across multiple countries, and we are expanding rapidly. We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial records, compliance, and support export-related financial documentation.

Role Overview

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining day-to-day financial records, managing receivables and payables, ensuring GST compliance, and supporting export documentation and international payment tracking.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally or accounting software

• Record sales, purchases, receipts, and payments

• Maintain proper financial records and documentation

• Manage company ledgers and accounts statements

GST & Compliance

• Prepare GST data and coordinate with CA for filing returns

• Maintain proper tax invoices and compliance documentation

• Ensure GST compliance for domestic and export transactions

Payments & Receivables

• Track customer payments and outstanding receivables

• Follow up with customers for pending payments

• Manage vendor payments and maintain expense records

Bank & Financial Reconciliation

• Perform bank reconciliation regularly

• Maintain records of bank transactions and transfers

• Verify financial entries and correct discrepancies

Export Documentation & International Payments

• Basic understanding of export procedures and documentation

• Preparation or verification of export documents such as:

  • Commercial Invoice

  • Packing List

  • Bill of Lading / Airway Bill

  • Certificate of Origin

• Coordinate with CHA (Custom House Agent) and freight forwarders

• Track international payments through bank remittance / SWIFT transfers

• Maintain records for FIRC / BRC and export GST compliance

• Ensure proper documentation for export shipments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field

• 2–5 years of accounting experience

• Good knowledge of Tally, GST, and Microsoft Excel

• Basic understanding of export documentation will be an advantage

• Strong attention to detail and financial accuracy
