Picker / Packer

Job Summary:

The Picker & Packer is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick items from designated locations as per the order list.

• Pack products securely and label them correctly for dispatch.

• Verify quantities, product codes, and packaging standards before shipment.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the picking and packing area.

• Assist in loading and unloading materials when required.

• Report any stock discrepancies or damages to the supervisor.

• Follow safety and quality standards during handling and movement of goods.

• Support inventory control activities like stock counting and bin audits.

  Skills & Competencies:

  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.

  • Physically fit and able to lift moderate loads.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Team player with good communication and time-management skills.

    Qualification & Experience:

    • Minimum 10th pass or equivalent.

    • Prior experience in warehouse operations or logistics (preferred but not mandatory).
