Job Description

A fulfillment centre supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a fulfillment or distribution centre to ensure efficient and accurate order processing, inventory management, and timely shipment of goods. Key duties include supervising staff, coordinating order fulfillment activities such as picking, packing, and shipping, maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction by meeting service level agreements (SLAs). The supervisor often manages inventory levels, resolves operational issues, implements standard operating procedures (SOPs), and provides leadership and training to employees.Typical responsibilities include:

Supervising order fulfillment operations to ensure accurate and timely processing of orders.
Coordinating with warehouse staff, customer service, and carriers to ensure smooth workflow.
Monitoring inventory and maintaining stock accuracy.
Maintaining warehouse safety and compliance with regulations.
Training, coaching, and motivating team members to achieve productivity and quality goals.
Reporting on performance metrics and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborating with external partners and internal teams for effective supply chain management.
Handling incidents, accident reports, and troubleshooting operational challenges.
