Dispatch Executive

1. Dispatch & Coordination

• Allocate and dispatch vehicles/drivers based on schedule and operational requirements.

• Ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods/services.

• Monitor vehicle movement through GPS/dispatch software.

2. Communication

• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, warehouse staff, and management.

• Provide real-time updates on dispatch status, delays, route changes, or issues.

3. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of dispatch logs, trip sheets, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.

• Prepare daily/weekly operational reports for management review.

4. Issue Resolution

• Handle on-route issues such as delays, vehicle breakdowns, or customer queries.

• Coordinate emergency support or replacement vehicles when needed.

5. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure drivers adhere to company policies, traffic regulations, and safety standards.

• Verify documentation—licenses, vehicle papers, and permits—before dispatch.

6. Operational Support

• Assist in route planning and load optimization to improve efficiency.

• Work closely with the operations and logistics teams to meet service-level targets.
