Job Description – Service Staff / Steward
Greet and welcome guests politely and ensure they have a pleasant dining experience.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen staff.
Serve food and beverages to guests according to the restaurant or hotel service standards.
Set up tables properly before service with required cutlery, crockery, napkins, and glassware.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area, service stations, and work areas at all times.
Clear used dishes and reset tables promptly after guests finish their meals.
Assist guests with menu information and provide recommendations when required.
Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
Handle guest requests or complaints professionally and report concerns to the supervisor when needed.
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and instructions from supervisors or management.
