Position Overview:

The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. The role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to maintain service standards and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.

• Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, daily specials, and promotions.

• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar.

• Serve food and beverages professionally and in a timely manner.

• Ensure guest satisfaction by checking back during meals and addressing any concerns promptly.

• Clear tables, reset them for the next guests, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.

• Handle billing and payment transactions accurately.

• Follow service standards, hygiene, and safety regulations.

• Work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.

• Attend daily briefings and training sessions as required.

• Perform side duties such as polishing cutlery, restocking supplies, and setting up tables.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training preferred.

• Experience: 0-1 years of experience as a waiter/waitress in a restaurant, hotel, or similar environment.

• Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Good knowledge of food and beverage service techniques.

  • Ability to handle POS systems and basic cash transactions.

  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
