Job Description: Freelance Event Photographer & Videographer

Role Overview: The Freelance Event Photographer & Videographer will be responsible for comprehensively documenting workshops and associated kiosk activations

Key Responsibilities:

• Event Day Coverage (In-person & Online):

o Capture high-quality, professional photographs (both candid and posed) of speakers, attendees, workshop activities, kiosk engagement, and networking sessions.

o Record high-definition video footage suitable for promotional videos, workshop recaps, and testimonial reels.

o Capture dynamic short-form video content specifically for social media reels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) that aligns with current trends

o Ensure proper lighting, composition, and audio quality for all captured content.

o Maintain a professional and unobtrusive presence during live sessions.

• Post-Production:

o Comprehensive Editing: Select, edit, and retouch all photographs (color correction, exposure, cropping, basic retouching as needed).

o Video Editing: Professionally edit raw video footage into compelling deliverables, including:

 Short social media reels (15-60 seconds) with text overlays, relevant audio, and fast-paced editing.

 Workshop highlight reels (1-3 minutes).

 Longer archival footage (e.g., full workshop sessions edited for clarity, if agreed).

o Incorporate provided branding elements (logos, lower thirds) and royalty-free music where appropriate.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven Experience: Minimum of [e.g., 2-3 years] of professional experience in event photography and videography, particularly for corporate or educational events.

• Strong Portfolio: A compelling portfolio demonstrating expertise in event photography, videography, and social media reel creation.

• Technical Proficiency:

o Proficiency in operating professional-grade camera equipment (DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, lenses, tripods, stabilizers, external audio recorders, lighting equipment).

o Expertise in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite - Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects).

o Knowledge of best practices for shooting and editing content for various social media platforms.

• It is a Part Time Video Editor job for candidates with 6 months - 5 years of experience.
