Job Description

Business Development Executives (INTERNS) will engage with customers over phone calls, promoting products/services, generating leads, and assisting with sales follow-up activities. This internship provides hands-on exposure to sales communication, customer handling, and promotional activities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to potential customers to introduce and promote company products/services.

  • Explain product features, benefits, offers, and promotions clearly and professionally.

  • Generate leads and schedule appointments for the sales team.

  • Maintain and update customer databases with accurate information.

  • Follow up on warm leads, inquiries, and previous communication.

  • Support sales campaigns, promotional activities, and tele-calling drives.

  • Handle customer queries and direct them to the appropriate team when required.

  • Achieve weekly/monthly calling and lead-generation targets.

  • Provide daily/weekly reports on call activity, lead status, and customer responses.


Skills & Competencies Required

  • Good communication skills in English and 2 regional languages

  • Confident, polite, and customer-friendly telephone manner

  • Basic computer knowledge (Excel, email)

  • Ability to learn product information quickly

  • Persuasive speaking and active listening skills

  • Self-motivated, disciplined and target-oriented


Eligibility / Qualifications

  • Any undergraduate or graduate student

  • Freshers with interest in sales, customer communication or marketing

  • Prior calling experience is an added advantage but not mandatory
