Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Student Counselling & Admissions
• Guide prospective students about the programs, curriculum, career opportunities, and admission procedures.
• Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions (online/offline) to understand student goals and recommend suitable courses.
• Explain financial aspects (fees, payment plans, scholarships, etc.).
• Follow up with leads via calls, emails, and messages to close admissions successfully.
• Maintain student records and track admission progress on CRM/ERP systems.
2. Academic Support & Progress Monitoring
• Assist enrolled students with academic planning and support services.
• Monitor student attendance, progress, and performance, and address concerns proactively.
• Coordinate with faculty to understand student performance and improvement areas.
• Facilitate student interactions with faculty for academic advice.
3. Career Guidance & Placement Assistance
• Provide career counselling regarding opportunities in pastry arts, bakery, and culinary industries.
• Guide students in building resumes, portfolios, and preparation for interviews.
• Collaborate with placement cell for internship and job placement support.
• Organize career talks, alumni interactions, and guest lectures.
4. Administration & Coordination
• Support smooth academic operations by coordinating with administration, faculty, and students.
• Prepare reports on admissions, student feedback, and progress for management review.
• Ensure adherence to academic policies, code of conduct, and institutional guidelines.
• Assist in planning academic calendar, batch scheduling, and examinations.
5. Event Management & Student Engagement
• Plan and manage student engagement activities like workshops, competitions, exhibitions, and festivals.
• Support coordination of masterclasses and special sessions by visiting chefs and industry experts.
• Ensure high levels of student satisfaction and engagement.
6. Sales & Marketing Support (Admissions)
• Work closely with the marketing team to provide insights from student queries.
• Represent the institute in educational fairs, expos, webinars, and seminars.
• Contribute to promotional campaigns to increase enrollment.
7. Professional Development
• Stay updated with the latest trends in culinary education and pastry arts.
• Attend workshops and training for continuous improvement in counselling skills.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional ethics at all times.
