Job Description – Junior Architect

About the Company
DEVISE is a Jaipur-based architecture and interior design firm working on hospitality, resort, residential, commercial, and interior design projects. We are looking for a motivated Junior Architect who is eager to learn, contribute to design development, and support the team in preparing drawings, presentations, and project documentation.
Role Overview
The Junior Architect will assist the senior team in architectural planning, design development, working drawings, 3D views, presentations, and site coordination. The candidate should have a good design sense, basic technical knowledge, and willingness to work on multiple stages of a project.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing architectural plans, elevations, sections, and presentation drawings.
Prepare and update working drawings under the guidance of senior architects.
Support in space planning, design development, and concept presentations.
Create basic 3D models, rendered views, mood boards, and material presentations.
Coordinate with internal team members for drawing updates and revisions.
Visit sites when required for measurements, execution checks, and coordination.
Assist in preparing detail drawings, furniture layouts, ceiling layouts, flooring layouts, and interior drawings.
Maintain proper drawing files, reference images, and project documentation.
Incorporate client, consultant, and senior architect comments into drawings.
Ensure assigned tasks are completed accurately and within timelines.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of architectural planning and design.
Good understanding of AutoCAD drafting and presentation work.
Ability to read and prepare architectural drawings.
Interest in hospitality, resort, residential, and interior design projects.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Willingness to learn technical detailing, site execution, and consultant coordination.
Ability to work in a team and follow instructions carefully.
Attention to detail and responsible work approach.
Software Skills
AutoCAD – mandatory
Sketch Up – preferred
Photoshop – preferred
Lumion / Enscape – preferred
MS Office / Google Workspace – preferred
Revit knowledge will be an added advantage
Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, B.Arch, from a recognized institute.
Fresh graduates may also apply.
