Job Title: Sr. Accounts Executive
Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai (Occasional travel to Boisar as required)

About the Role

DCCPL is seeking a reliable and experienced Sr. Accounts Executive to oversee core accounting and compliance operations. This role is ideal for a self-driven professional with hands-on experience in daily accounting, statutory filings, and financial reporting. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring accuracy in financial records, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries: cash, bank, sales, purchase, and journal.

• Prepare and file TDS returns, including challans and quarterly filings.

• Support the finalisation of accounts, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and audit schedules.

• Liaise with external auditors and CAs during statutory and tax audits.

• Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile vendor/customer accounts.

• Ensure timely payment and tracking of TDS, GST, PT, and other statutory dues.

• Generate basic MIS reports and assist in budgeting and financial planning.

• Communicate with clients/vendors on accounting and compliance-related queries.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting (B.Com/M.Com or equivalent).

• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in a small to mid-sized firm.

• Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel.

• Solid understanding of TDS regulations, and working knowledge of GST compliance.

• Experience in finalization of accounts and audit preparation.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Hands-on experience with GST return filing.

• Familiarity with cloud-based accounting software.

• Exposure to payroll processing and basic HR-related statutory compliance.
