Job description

Role & responsibilities

1. Payroll Processing

• Collect and verify attendance, leave, and overtime data from HR systems.

• Process monthly salaries, incentives, arrears, and deductions accurately.

• Ensure timely disbursement of salaries through bank transfers.

• Reconcile payroll with finance and maintain supporting documentation.

2. Statutory Compliance

• Handle PF, ESI, PT, LWF, and TDS deductions as per statutory norms

• Generate and file monthly/quarterly returns through respective portals.

• Coordinate with auditors and government departments for compliance audits.

3. Employee Records & Queries

• Maintain and update employee payroll master data.

• Respond to payroll-related queries from employees.

• Issue salary slips, Form 16, and other payroll documents on request.

4. Reporting & MIS

• Prepare monthly payroll MIS and variance reports.

• Assist in budgeting and cost analysis related to payroll expenses

• Coordinate with finance for journal entries and reconciliations.

5. System & Process Management

• Manage payroll in ERP / HRMS (e.g., SAP, GreytHR, Zoho People, etc.).

• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Commerce / HR / Finance

• Strong understanding of Indian payroll statutory laws (PF, ESI, PT, TDS).

• Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll software/HRMS tools.

• It is a Full Time అకౌంటెంట్ job for candidates with 1 - 3 years of experience.
