Job Title: Accountant

Location: Pune (Multiple Locations)

Experience Required: Minimum 1–5 years (non-negotiable)

Job Overview

We are looking for a hands-on, experienced Accountant who can independently manage day-to-day accounting operations. This role is not for freshers or people who need spoon-feeding. You will be expected to handle books accurately, meet deadlines, and ensure compliance without constant follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain complete books of accounts (Tally / Tally Prime)

• Record day-to-day accounting entries, vouchers, and journals

• Handle GST compliance – returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), reconciliation, notices

• Manage TDS calculation, filing, and returns

• Bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny

• Assist in finalization of accounts (monthly / yearly)

• Prepare MIS reports, profit & loss statements, and balance sheets

• Coordinate with CA for audits, tax filings, and statutory compliance

• Maintain proper documentation and records

• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com mandatory)

• Strong working knowledge of Tally, Excel, GST, and TDS

• Clear understanding of accounting principles

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Good time management and accountability

Preferred (Not Mandatory, but a Plus)

• Experience in handling audits

• Knowledge of Income Tax basics

• Experience in SME / firm / consultancy setup

Salary

₹15,000 – ₹40,000 per month
(Salary depends strictly on experience and skill level, not expectations)
