GST, Income Tax & Accounting Executive

Job Purpose

To manage routine taxation, accounting and statutory compliance assignments for Beacon Consultancy clients accurately and within applicable deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process GST registrations, amendments, returns and related compliance work.

• Assist clients with Income Tax Return (ITR) preparation, document collection and filing.

• Maintain books of accounts, sales and purchase registers, expense records and bank reconciliations.

• Handle bookkeeping, ledger scrutiny, basic financial statements and monthly accounting reports.

• Reconcile GST data with books of accounts and available purchase records.

• Assist with TDS calculations, returns and other applicable compliance activities.

• Support Udyam/MSME registration and other business documentation requirements.

• Maintain client-wise folders, checklists, filing acknowledgements and compliance calendars.

• Coordinate with clients for missing documents, payments, approvals and filing confirmations.

• Escalate complex tax, audit and advisory matters to an authorised CA or relevant specialist.

Qualifications & Skills

• B.Com, M.Com or equivalent commerce qualification.

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting, GST and taxation.

• Practical knowledge of the GST portal, Income Tax e-filing portal and Tally or equivalent accounting software.

• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, reconciliations and financial documentation.

• Strong attention to detail, confidentiality and deadline management.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• On-time completion of assigned filings and compliance tasks.

• Accuracy of accounting entries and reconciliations.

• Number of client accounts handled within agreed timelines.

• Timely collection of client documents and reduction in filing errors.

• It is a Full Time అకౌంటెంట్ job for candidates with 2 - 5 years of experience.
