Job Title: Presales Engineer – ITMS (Intelligent Traffic Management Systems)

📍 Location: Mumbai
💼 Experience: 5+ Years
🎓 Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (Electrical/Electronics) / MCA

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Presales Engineer with strong expertise in ITMS, Smart City Solutions, Intelligent Transportation Systems, and ELV/LV Security Systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing technical solutions, preparing proposals, coordinating with OEMs, and supporting the sales team throughout the bidding and project acquisition cycle.


Key Responsibilities:

🔧 Solution Design & Engineering

  • Design and prepare technical solutions for ITMS, ATMS, ATCS, ANPR, CCTV, VMS, Parking Solutions, and Smart City Infrastructure.

  • Develop system architecture, layouts, BOQ/BOM, compliance sheets, and technical documentation.

  • Ensure designs meet client specifications, industry standards, and functional requirements.

📑 Technical Proposals & Tendering

  • Prepare technical write-ups, proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, and tender documentation.

  • Participate in pre-bid meetings, understand client/consultant queries, and provide technical clarifications.

  • Ensure complete alignment with tender compliance and technical evaluation criteria.

🤝 OEM & Vendor Coordination

  • Coordinate with OEMs for product specifications, pricing, TAT, and technical support.

  • Evaluate product alternatives for value engineering and cost optimization.

  • Maintain strong relationships with well-known OEMs in the ITMS/ELV domain.

👥 Client Interaction & Sales Support

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and present suitable technical solutions.

  • Conduct technical presentations, demos, and product comparisons.

  • Act as a technical expert during discussions with clients, consultants, and internal teams.

📌 Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the project, procurement, and engineering teams for seamless handovers and execution.

  • Provide technical inputs during material selection and vendor finalization.

⚙️ Value Engineering & Optimization

  • Recommend cost-effective solutions without compromising technical specifications.

  • Ensure seamless integration of multiple technologies and smart solutions.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in Presales / Solution Engineering in ITMS/Smart City/ELV domain.

  • Strong knowledge of CCTV, ANPR, VMS, Access Control, Fire Alarm, PA Systems, Parking Systems, and Automation.

  • Expertise in BOQ, BOM, Tendering, Technical Proposals, Solution Design.

  • Hands-on experience in interacting with OEMs and System Integrators.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and client-handling skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple bids, proposals, and technical submissions simultaneously.
