Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities and partnerships in the solar EPC domain (Rooftop, Ground-Mounted, Hybrid, Off-grid & On-grid systems).

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets.

  • Generate qualified leads through market research, networking, cold calling, digital platforms, and participation in industry events.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling technical and commercial proposals, presentations, and tender documents.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, government agencies, consultants, and channel partners.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and policy developments in the renewable energy space.

  • Coordinate with technical, design, procurement, and execution teams to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure accurate sales forecasting, reporting, and CRM updates.

  • Represent the company in client meetings, exhibitions, seminars, and other events.


Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Renewable Energy / Business Administration (MBA preferred).

  • Minimum 1–5 years of proven experience in business development or sales in the solar EPC industry.

  • Deep understanding of solar PV systems, energy market trends, and project lifecycle.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and proposal tools.

  • Ability to travel frequently and work independently.


Preferred Skills:

  • Existing network of industry contacts and clients in the solar sector.

  • Experience in handling government and private sector clients.

  • Familiarity with net metering, open access, and subsidy mechanisms.
