About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and goal-driven Business Development Executive to join our dynamic EdTech sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating qualified leads, and driving end-to-end sales conversions in the education technology domain.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Prospecting:

  • Identify, research, and generate qualified leads through online platforms, databases, and social channels (LinkedIn, email, calls, etc.).

  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through consistent outreach and follow-ups.

  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.

Sales & Conversions:

  • Present product demos and consult prospective clients (students, parents, institutions, or corporate partners) on how the product meets their needs.

  • Manage the full sales cycle — from lead qualification to negotiation and closing deals.

  • Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and track sales metrics.

Relationship Management:

  • Build long-term relationships with clients to ensure retention and referrals.

  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align on sales campaigns and customer feedback.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 1–3 years of experience in B2C/B2B sales or business development, preferably in the EdTech sector.

  • Proven track record in lead generation and achieving sales targets in a remote setup.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Proficient with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce) and online communication platforms.

  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable working independently.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience selling educational courses, online learning platforms, or digital training solutions.

  • Understanding of the education landscape (K–12, higher education, test prep, or upskilling domains).

  • Ability to adapt sales strategies for different audience segments.
