About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and goal-driven Business Development Executive to join our dynamic EdTech sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating qualified leads, and driving end-to-end sales conversions in the education technology domain.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
Identify, research, and generate qualified leads through online platforms, databases, and social channels (LinkedIn, email, calls, etc.).
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through consistent outreach and follow-ups.
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
Sales & Conversions:
Present product demos and consult prospective clients (students, parents, institutions, or corporate partners) on how the product meets their needs.
Manage the full sales cycle — from lead qualification to negotiation and closing deals.
Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Maintain accurate CRM records and track sales metrics.
Relationship Management:
Build long-term relationships with clients to ensure retention and referrals.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align on sales campaigns and customer feedback.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in B2C/B2B sales or business development, preferably in the EdTech sector.
Proven track record in lead generation and achieving sales targets in a remote setup.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficient with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce) and online communication platforms.
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
Preferred Skills:
Experience selling educational courses, online learning platforms, or digital training solutions.
Understanding of the education landscape (K–12, higher education, test prep, or upskilling domains).
Ability to adapt sales strategies for different audience segments.
