Job Description

A store in-charge is responsible for managing day-to-day store operations, including overseeing inventory, supervising staff, and ensuring efficient logistics and safety. Core responsibilities
Inventory management: Manage stock levels, conduct regular audits and reconciliations, and maintain accurate records for all incoming and outgoing materials. This includes monitoring minimum and maximum stock levels and coordinating with suppliers for timely replenishment.
Daily operations: Oversee the daily workflow of the store, ensuring efficiency and a smooth operational environment. This includes organizing the stockroom and managing daily store functions.
Staff management: Supervise and manage store personnel, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and potentially conducting performance evaluations.
Logistics and coordination: Coordinate with other departments, such as production and procurement, to ensure the proper flow of materials. This involves managing the logistics of incoming and outgoing shipments and preparing necessary documents.
Safety and compliance: Implement and enforce safety and security procedures to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with regulations.
Reporting and record-keeping: Prepare various reports, such as monthly reconciliation statements, inventory reports, and performance reports, using manual methods or ERP software.
Required qualifications and skills
Education: A high school diploma is typically required, with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field being preferred.
Experience: Proven experience in a retail or warehouse management, or supervisory role is often necessary.
Skills:
