Job Description: The HR Specialist will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR compliance, statutory labour law adherence, and payroll operations. The role requires strong knowledge of Indian labour laws, statutory filings, and payroll processing for a large workforce.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Compliance & Statutory Management
•Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws: PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity, CLRA, Minimum Wages, etc.
•Handle registrations, renewals, and maintenance of statutory licenses.
•Prepare and submit monthly/annual statutory returns.
•Coordinate with government authorities, auditors, and consultants.
•Ensure 100% compliance across all client locations.
2. Labour Law Management
•Monitor changes in labour laws and update internal policies accordingly.
•Handle inspections, notices, and legal documentation.
•Maintain statutory registers and records as per compliance requirements.
•Support legal cases related to labour disputes, if any.
3. Payroll Management
•Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees (attendance, wages, deductions, statutory contributions).
•Ensure accurate and timely salary disbursement.
•Handle F&F settlements, bonus payouts, and reimbursements.
•Reconcile payroll with statutory filings (PF, ESI, TDS).
•Coordinate with finance for payroll accounting and reporting.
4. MIS & Reporting
•Generate monthly compliance and payroll reports.
•Maintain dashboards for manpower, absenteeism, and statutory status.
•Provide data for audits and management reviews.
5. Stakeholder Coordination
•Work closely with operations teams to ensure compliance at site level.
•Coordinate with clients for statutory and payroll-related requirements.
•Train site teams on compliance processes and documentation.
Key Skills & Competencies
•Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance
•Hands-on experience in payroll processing (large workforce preferred)
•Good understanding of compliance audits and documentation
•Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll software
•Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
•High attention to detail and accuracy
