KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations Architecture
Own all HR documentation, templates, SOPs, and process maps
Build and maintain a cloud-based HR document repository
Drive standardization so that every team member delivers consistent outcomes across locations, shifts, and cities
Partner Lifecycle Management
Plan and run the full employee lifecycle end-to-end, from issuing recruitment briefs to specialists, through to onboarding and Day 1 readiness
Coordinate payroll and attendance processing in our internal system and with the Operations team
Manage promotions, transfers, contract renewals, resignations, and offboarding
Workplace, Accommodation & Facilities
Manage Google Workspace account lifecycle for all staff
Oversee accommodation operations: move-in/out, master register, landlord relations, and petty cash
Handle uniform orders, stock, distribution, and returns
Maintain general office and facility upkeep across sites
Compliance, Vendor & Internal Control
Maintain the compliance calendar and ensure all statutory deadlines are met (PF, ESIC, PT, Gratuity, Karnataka S&E, and others)
Manage HR-related vendor contracts and conduct quarterly vendor performance reviews
Document and enforce approval workflows via internal systems
Conduct regular audits and proactively flag compliance, fraud, and grievance risks
Data, Reporting & Scaling
Structure HR data and build automated dashboards that refresh without manual effort
Deliver a monthly HR insight pack to the Manager
Plan HR readiness for new store openings and city expansions
Team Coordination & Execution Assurance
Coordinate and develop direct reports; set clear expectations, give honest feedback, and coach without micromanaging
Verify that execution actually happens and that no critical tasks are missed
Step in personally to execute whenever a team member is unavailable or a position is vacant
