About this Opportunity The HR Policy & Compliance team is responsible for supporting compliance with applicable employment laws, statutory requirements, and internal HR policies. As a member of the HR Compliance team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution and administration of assigned statutory and HR compliance activities. This role will focus on ensuring timely completion of statutory filings, remittances, payments, maintenance of statutory records and registers, resolution of Team Member queries, and accurate compliance documentation. The role will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to support effective and timely compliance execution. As a Lead process specialist, you'll take the lead in: Statutory Compliance Execution Ensure timely and accurate filing of statutory returns, remittance of statutory contributions, and completion of compliance-related payments within prescribed timelines. Maintain statutory registers, records, returns, challans, certificates, and other compliance-related documentation as required under applicable laws. Maintain and monitor compliance calendars and trackers to ensure timely completion of statutory and internal compliance requirements. Coordinate with Payroll, Finance, HR Operations, and other relevant stakeholders to obtain and validate information required for statutory compliance activities. Follow up with internal stakeholders and external consultants/vendors to ensure timely completion and closure of assigned compliance activities. Support periodic reconciliation and validation of statutory contributions, payments, and related records and identify discrepancies for resolution. Provident Fund and Team Member Support Handle Team Member queries related to Provident Fund (PF) and other assigned statutory compliance matters and provide accurate and timely resolution. Support PF-related processes, including contribution reconciliation, remittances, UAN-related activities, documentation, and resolution of discrepancies. Coordinate with Payroll, HR Operations, and relevant stakeholders to investigate and resolve PF-related issues. Escalate complex, sensitive, or high-risk compliance matters to senior members of the HR Compliance team. Manage Compliance mailbox and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure the queries are resolved Compliance Records and Reporting Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance trackers, records, and supporting documentation. Prepare compliance MIS, reports, dashboards, and data required for periodic reviews. Conduct periodic reviews of compliance records and documentation to identify missing information, discrepancies, or potential compliance gaps and support their resolution. Ensure appropriate record retention and organization of compliance-related documents. Audits, Inspections and Regulatory Support Support internal and external audits, statutory inspections, and regulatory inquiries by coordinating and providing required records, data, and documentation. Track audit findings and compliance action items and follow up with relevant stakeholders to support timely closure. Assist in preparing documentation and information required for responses to regulatory notices and other statutory requirements. Process and Operational Support Support the implementation of changes to statutory processes, compliance requirements, and internal procedures under the guidance of senior members of the HR Compliance team. Identify recurring process gaps, documentation issues, or operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements. Support other HR compliance activities and projects as assigned. HR Crisis Management Support the identification and tracking of potential HR crisis scenarios at TII in liaison with relevant stakeholders, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date crisis management data, records, and trackers. Support the coordination and execution of HR crisis management processes, including timely communication and documentation in accordance with established protocols. Maintain and update crisis management records, emergency contact information, and related documentation. Support periodic reviews and reporting of HR crisis management data and action items. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, Law, or a related field. 3–4 years of relevant experience in statutory compliance, HR compliance, payroll, HR operations, or a related field. Working knowledge of applicable Indian labour and employment laws and statutory compliance requirements. Knowledge of Provident Fund and other employment-related statutory requirements is preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple compliance activities and deadlines. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong documentation, record management, and organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders. Self-driven approach, Problem-solving ability with adherence to deadlines and tight timelines Experience in project tracking (setting up a project plan, managing risk and issue logs, reporting, and governance. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a corporate environment with established HR and compliance processes. Experience with statutory compliance processes, compliance calendars and trackers, reconciliations, reporting, and audit documentation. Knowledge of or certification in statutory compliance, labour laws, or HR compliance. Hands-on experience managing PF-related processes, reconciliations, UAN-related activities, and Team Member queries. Experience coordinating with Payroll, Finance, HR Operations, Legal, external consultants, vendors, or similar cross-functional stakeholders. Exposure to internal/external audits, statutory inspections, or regulatory documentation would be an advantage. Experience Level Senior Level
