Painter

The Painter will be responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing surfaces according to project specifications and company quality standards. This role involves performing painting tasks at various Zobocon project sites, ensuring excellent workmanship, safety compliance, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, and applying primer as needed.

• Mix paints, stains, and other finishes to achieve desired colors and textures.

• Apply paint, varnish, enamel, or other finishes to walls, ceilings, furniture, and equipment using brushes, rollers, or spray guns.

• Follow Zobocon’s quality and safety protocols during all painting operations.

• Maintain painting tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition.

• Read and interpret work orders, specifications, and blueprints.

• Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades to ensure smooth project progress.

• Conduct touch-ups and surface inspections to ensure a high-quality finish.

• Keep records of materials used and work completed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 0 years of experience as a professional painter (interior/exterior, industrial, or decorative).

• Knowledge of various painting techniques, materials, and finishes.

• Ability to handle painting equipment safely (rollers, sprayers, scaffolding, ladders, etc.).

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.

• Physical stamina and ability to work at heights or in outdoor conditions.

• Basic knowledge of surface preparation and coating systems.

• Team player with good communication and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification or training in Industrial/Decorative Painting or Surface Coating (preferred but not mandatory).

• Experience in large-scale or multi-site projects.

• Familiarity with safety standards such as PPE use and site hazard identification.

Working Conditions

• Full-time, site-based role (may require travel between project sites).
