Machine Operator

Job Description

• Operate manual or CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders.

• Measure and inspect finished components using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

• Perform routine maintenance and lubrication of the machine

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines (fiber or CO₂).

• Load and unload metal sheets and align workpieces properly.

• Monitor cutting parameters and ensure dimensional accuracy.

• Troubleshoot and adjust settings for optimal cutting performance.

• Perform MIG, TIG, or Arc welding as per project requirements.

• Read welding blueprints and symbols accurately.

• Inspect welds for quality, strength, and finish.

• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the welding area.

Additional Duties:

• Follow all safety protocols and company policies.

• Maintain production logs and report any machine malfunction.

• Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to improve process efficiency.

• Support other machine operations as needed.
