Quality Control Engineer

A Quality Engineer ensures product and process quality by defining and implementing quality standards, conducting audits and testing, identifying defects, and developing corrective actions. Key duties include creating quality control systems, monitoring production, analyzing data, working with suppliers, managing quality documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations, and communicating findings to management. Essential skills for a Quality Engineer are strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, technical proficiency, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.  

Key Responsibilities

• Develop & Implement Quality Standards:

  Establish and update company-wide quality standards, policies, and procedures for processes and products. 

• Testing & Auditing:

  Conduct regular audits and inspections of processes and products, including raw materials, components, and final products, to verify compliance with standards. 

• Identify & Resolve Issues:

  Monitor production, identify defects, malfunctions, and quality issues, and then develop and implement solutions to eliminate them. 

• Quality Documentation:

  Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and quality metrics. 

• Supplier Management:

  Work with suppliers to ensure that components and raw materials meet the organization's quality standards. 

• Reporting & Analysis:

  Create and present quality reports that analyze internal and external quality standards, and track progress towards quality goals. 

• Compliance:

  Ensure that all products and processes comply with relevant legal, safety, and regulatory standards. 

• Collaboration & Training:

  Work with various departments and provide training to employees on quality control standards, processes, and procedures.
