We are looking for a skilled Utility Costing Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in estimating and tendering for Industrial Utility Systems such as Boilers, Chillers, Compressors, Water Systems, and HVAC Utility Integration. The candidate should be proficient in cost estimation, BOQ preparation, vendor coordination, and compliance with industrial standards (GMP, ISO). The role involves working closely with the design and project team to ensure accurate costing and cost optimization for utility projects in Pharma/Food/Chemical plants. Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Utility Cost Estimation & BOQ Preparation Prepare detailed cost estimates & BOQs for Utility Systems (Boiler, Chiller, Air Compressors, Cooling Towers, Water Treatment, Steam Piping). Analyze tender documents, P&ID, layouts, and utility schematics to derive precise costing. Develop rate analysis for materials, fabrication, and subcontract works. 2. Design Review & Technical Analysis Review utility designs, pipeline sizing, load calculations, fuel consumption and system capacities. Support in value engineering and optimization of utility equipment selection. 3. Vendor & Procurement Coordination Coordinate with utility equipment suppliers (Boiler, Chiller, Compressors, RO/DM Plants). Conduct techno-commercial comparisons and negotiations. Prepare vendor comparison sheets & cost justification reports. 4. Tender & Client Coordination Prepare techno-commercial proposals and bid documents. Participate in pre-bid meetings, client discussions, and respond to technical clarifications. Support sales/proposal team with costing insights. 5. Cost Control & Project Budgeting Monitor cost deviations and support management in budgeting decisions. Provide MIS reports, project cost tracking, and estimation audits. 6. Team Coordination & Documentation Work with Design, Project, and Procurement teams for accurate estimation. Maintain documentation and costing records for future referenc
