QUALITY INSPECTOR

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Supervise and Direct Quality Control activities to determine product conformity to customer specification through effective inspection and test in accordance with the Project Quality Plan / Inspection Test Plan 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Check material and product in progress

• Identify non-conformities and take appropriate action to control / prevent them in different manufacturing stages.

• Conducts surveillances as applicable to verify the product follows project requirements and procedures

• Issue quality assurance certificate.

• Send finished product to showroom

• Plan, execute and monitor quality of the furniture

• Maximise the profitability of the company by enhancing product quality

• Ensure that the product undergoes stringent quality testing before reaching the customer

• Q.C knowledge of materials .

• Movement of furnitures.

• S.S checking knowledge.

• Produce timely reports and documentation of QC while material in progress i.e Furniture stage, Upholstery stage, SS and  Polishing and other elements like stone , SS etc.

• Prepare documentation of internal quality control audits and quality checks

• Identify training requireme nts to improve product quality

• Provide training to production engineers and assembly line staff to enhance the quality of product

• Read customer complaints and feedback to identify areas of improvement

 POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND KEY SKILLS

•  Follow Company’s Quality standards

• Knowledge of quality  Furniture and material like wood, Upholstery and metal etc.

• Capable of Supervising

• Inspection and Test planning

• Knowledge of QC as per project specification

• Manage Quality Control System

• Quality audit

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 6 months - 2 years of experience.
