We have vacancy for M1TR and lathe machine operator.

Key Requirements: To set up and operate an M1TR milling machine to manufacture parts according to specifications, requiring them to read engineering drawings, perform machining operations, inspect finished parts using precision instruments, and conduct routine maintenance. Key responsibilities include ensuring the machine is in good working order, adjusting settings, and following safety protocols. 

Key responsibilities

• Operate the machine: Set up and run the M1TR milling machine to perform machining operations like milling, drilling, and slotting on metal components.

• Read and interpret drawings: Understand engineering drawings, job orders, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances for the parts being produced.

• Perform setup: Set up tools, cutters, and fixtures on the machine for proper alignment and finish.

• Monitor and adjust: Adjust machine settings, feeds, and speeds to ensure optimal performance.

• Quality control: Inspect finished parts using precision instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure they meet quality standards.

• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks and minor repairs to keep the machine running efficiently and safely.

• Safety and cleanliness: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

• Tooling: Monitor tool wear and replace cutting tools as needed.

• Record keeping: Log operational data and ensure traceability of machined parts. 

Required skills and qualifications

• Technical skills: Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

• Attention to detail: Strong focus on precision and accuracy is crucial.

• Problem-solving: Aptitude for troubleshooting issues that may arise during operation.

• Mechanical aptitude: A general understanding of mechanical processes.
