As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and improving mechanical systems and components, utilizing principles of engineering and CAD software to ensure functional, reliable, and efficient products.
To create and develop mechanical components, systems, and devices across industries such as automotive, Automation, manufacturing, robotics using computer-aided design (CAD) software and engineering analysis tools to transform ideas into practical products. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring designs meet technical, safety, and client requirements.
Design and develop mechanical systems and components using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Rhino, or CATIA-Prefered
Create 2D and 3D models, technical drawings, and detailed specifications for mechanical assemblies
Conduct simulations and prototype testing to validate designs and ensure safety, reliability, and performance standards
Perform engineering calculations, stress analysis, and evaluate material properties for design optimization
Collaborate with engineers, manufacturing teams, and clients to resolve design challenges and modify designs if required
Document design iterations, testing results, and maintain design specifications and operational manuals
Stay updated on industry advancements, design trends, and best practices to enhance innovation
