This role is part of the Central Quality department and focuses on calibration management of measuring instruments used across manufacturing and quality processes.
The company is looking for a Mechanical Engineer with around 4–5 years of experience in calibration activities. The candidate should have hands-on knowledge of calibration methods for IMTEs (Inspection, Measuring & Test Equipment), standard gauges, and weigh bridges. The role also involves analyzing calibration reports and making decisions based on the results.
The person will be responsible for:
Planning calibration schedules as per business unit requirements
Ensuring timely calibration of TMTEs, standard gauges, and weigh bridges
Maintaining calibration records as per ISO standards and audit requirements
Preparing monthly MIS reports for the calibration section
Coordinating with internal teams and vendors for calibration activities
From the system side, the candidate should be comfortable using MS Office, especially Excel, and should have basic SAP knowledge for activities like Purchase Requisitions and related commercial transactions.
The company is also expecting good communication skills and leadership capability because the role requires coordination with multiple departments and maintaining quality compliance standards.
