Job Description

Pick and Packer – Instamart Store (Full-Time & Part-Time Available)Location: chennai (surrounding location)Reports To: Store SupervisorEmployment Type: Full-Time / Part-TimeAbout the RoleWe’re looking for reliable and energetic Pick and Packers to join our Instamart fulfillment team. In this role, you’ll help ensure our customers receive their grocery orders accurately, quickly, and in perfect condition. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment picking items from store shelves, packing them carefully, and preparing them for delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesPicking Orders: Select items accurately from store shelves according to online customer orders.Packing Orders: Pack groceries securely, ensuring freshness, quality, and correct labeling.Quality Checks: Inspect items for damage, expiration dates, and order accuracy before packing.Stock Management: Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining organized storage areas.Customer Experience: Ensure all orders are completed correctly and ready on time for delivery or pickup.Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace following company safety procedures.Teamwork: Collaborate with store and delivery staff to meet daily order and delivery targets.Skills and QualificationsPrevious experience in a warehouse, retail, or grocery environment preferred but not required (training provided).Strong attention to detail and accuracy when selecting and packing items.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Good communication and teamwork skills.Basic computer or mobile device skills (for using order management apps or scanners).Physically fit – able to stand, walk, and lift up to 20 kg throughout the shift.Shift DetailsFull-Time: 38+ hours per week (morning, afternoon, or night shifts available).Part-Time: Flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.Roster: May include rotating weekends or public holidays based on business needs.
