Job Description

Visit patients’ homes or designated collection points as per schedule.
Collect blood and other biological samples (urine, sputum, etc.) following proper phlebotomy techniques.
Ensure accurate patient identification, labeling, and documentation of samples.
Maintain aseptic techniques and follow infection control protocols.
Store and transport collected samples to the laboratory within the stipulated time frame, maintaining sample integrity.
Handle and dispose of biomedical waste as per safety guidelines.
Maintain patient confidentiality and provide courteous service.
Report any sample collection issues or patient concerns to the Lab Incharge.
Maintain records of home visits, sample collection logs, and receipts.
Ensure availability and maintenance of phlebotomy kits, consumables, and PPE
