Computer Operator

Job Description:

We are looking for a Computer Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling computer systems and ensuring efficient data processing and documentation. The position requires precision, discipline, and the ability to work in an industrial environment while wearing full safety gear.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor computer systems and hardware.

• Enter, update, and maintain accurate data in systems and databases.

• Generate reports, documentation, and summaries as required by the department.

• Perform basic troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.

• Coordinate with internal departments for data entry and reporting needs.

• Maintain organized files and electronic records.

• Ensure timely and error-free data processing and report submissions.

• Perform administrative duties as needed.

Additional Requirements:

• The candidate must be willing to work in safety gear, including:

  • Safety coverall or boiler suit

  • PPE kit (helmet, gloves, safety shoes, eye protection, etc.)

• The role may be based in an industrial, manufacturing, or site environment where adherence to safety standards is mandatory.

Qualifications:

• Minimum HSC or graduate in any discipline (preferred in Computer Science or related field).

• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Typing speed of at least 30–40 WPM.

• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.

• Good communication and coordination skills.
