Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Sales Executive / Sales Director to lead and grow our sales initiatives within the logistics and supply chain industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and contributing to the strategic direction of the company’s sales and revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
Business Development
Identify, approach, and secure new customers in freight forwarding, warehousing, distribution, or 3PL services.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand client base.
Team Leadership (for Director Role)
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team.
Set clear objectives and KPIs for team members.
Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing regular feedback and training.
Client Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts and high-value clients.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and support.
Negotiate contracts and pricing structures.
Collaboration
Work closely with operations, finance, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Provide market and customer feedback to internal stakeholders to inform service development.
Requirements:
For Sales Executive:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or related field.
2–5 years of sales experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain solutions.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
For Sales Director:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field.
8+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Deep understanding of logistics services (air/sea freight, warehousing, customs clearance, etc.).
Strategic thinker with experience in high-level client management and business planning.
Preferred Skills:
CRM software proficiency (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Strong analytical and presentation skills.
Ability to travel as needed.
Knowledge of international trade regulations is a plus.
