KRA for Sales Manager
• Develop and execute short-term and long-term B2B sales strategies in alignment with company
goals.
• Identify high-potential sectors, regions, and strategic partnerships.
• Lead, mentor, and guide the sales development executives and field sales personnel.
• Set sales targets and performance benchmarks for the team and ensure regular performance
reviews.
• Personally handle key account negotiations and large client acquisitions.
• Build strong relationships with corporate clients, EPC partners, and institutional buyers.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
• Prepare sales forecasts, revenue projections, and contribute to budgeting.
• Improve the lead-to-conversion cycle using CRM tools and standardized sales workflows.
• Coordinate with marketing to run lead generation campaigns and events.
• Monitor competitor activity, government policies, and customer preferences to fine-tune offerings.
• Provide strategic input for product development, pricing, and positioning.
• Collaborate with project, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution and
client Satisfaction.
Salary - sale manager salary ~ 30k to 35k
Candidate Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering.
• 4–8 years of proven experience in B2B sales in the solar
industry (rooftop/commercial/residential/industrial).
• Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring sales teams.
• Deep understanding of solar technologies, subsidies, net metering, and regulatory norms.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skill
