HVAC systems (AHUs, ducting, chilled water piping, etc.) installation supervision.
Cleanroom construction activities (modular partitions, ceilings, covings, flooring) execution monitoring.
Monitor subcontractors to ensure work is as per design/specifications.
Coordinate with design team, procurement, vendors, and project managers.
Daily/weekly planning and resource allocation.
Conduct site meetings and progress updates.
Read and understand HVAC & cleanroom drawings (GFC, layout, P&ID).
Ensure cleanroom standards: ISO 14644, GMP compliance.
Support commissioning activities: airflow testing, validation support (DOP, particle count).
Inspection of materials received at site.
Ensure installation is as per approved quality procedures.
Raise and close NCRs and snag points.
Maintain site records: daily progress reports (DPR), manpower, material consumption.
Support documentation for validation and handover: IQ/OQ/PQ protocols.
Ensure all site safety protocols are followed.
Conduct toolbox talks and ensure PPE usage.
Cleanroom & HVAC Site Engineers are generally required in:
Pharmaceutical industry
Semiconductor manufacturing
Biotechnology labs
Hospitals & healthcare facilities
Food processing units
If you're planning to recruit for this role, you can also add qualifications and skills like:
B.E./Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
2–5 years experience in cleanroom/HVAC projects.
Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project, Revit (optional).
Strong understanding of HVAC standards and cleanroom practices.
