Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality systems: Create, maintain, and update quality control systems, procedures, and inspection plans to ensure consistent quality.

• Perform inspections and tests: Conduct regular inspections of materials, components, and finished products using tools like Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and optical comparators to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.

• Analyze and resolve issues: Investigate production and product issues, analyze defects using techniques like root cause analysis, and recommend or implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Ensure compliance: Guarantee adherence to all relevant industry standards, defense regulations, and customer specifications.

• Collaborate with teams: Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, design, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related problems and improve processes.

• Manage documentation: Maintain accurate inspection and test records, prepare detailed reports on findings and corrective actions, and ensure full traceability of products.

• Conduct audits: Perform internal audits of processes and collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance and process maturity.
