Job Description: Fitter
Experience Required: 2 to 5 Years
Industry Preference: Food Processing Industry (Preferred)
Job Responsibilities:
Install, assemble, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery used in food processing plants.Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.Ensure proper alignment, fitting, and functioning of machine components.Carry out preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime.Follow safety standards, hygiene norms, and GMP guidelines applicable to the food processing industry.Coordinate with maintenance and production teams for smooth operations.Maintain records of maintenance activities and repairs.Job Requirements:
ITI / Diploma in Fitter or relevant mechanical trade.2–5 years of hands-on experience as a Fitter.Prior experience in the food processing industry will be an added advantage.Knowledge of mechanical tools, equipment, and maintenance procedures.Ability to work independently and in a team.Willingness to work in shifts, if required.Preferred Skills:
Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.---
