Retail Jewellers Billing Executive Job descriptionA retail jewellers billing executive is responsible for managing the billing and invoicing processes at a jewellery showroom, ensuring accuracy in bills, handling customer payments, and maintaining related records.### Core Responsibilities- Generate invoices for jewellery purchases using billing or POS software, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and receipts provided to customers.- Assist customers at the billing counter with payments and resolve any billing-related inquiries or issues.- Maintain billing records and reports, update billing software, and help train new staff in billing procedures.- Support stock management and showroom maintenance, including inventory updates and sometimes assisting with packaging.- Follow showrooms, cleanliness, and safety protocols while interacting professionally and politely with customers.### Skills and Qualifications- Basic computer skills, experience with POS or billing software, and familiarity with Microsoft Excel.- Good communication, accuracy in billing, and an ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.- Typically, 1–3 years of experience in jewellery or luxury retail sales are preferred, along with at least graduate qualification.- Ability to support inventory and stock management alongside billing tasks.Work Environment- Full-time, in-person roles with fixed day shifts; salary ranges from ₹16,000–₹25,000 per month depending on experience and location.- Health insurance and provident fund benefits may be available.Jewellery billing executives play a key role in providing an exceptional in-store experience by ensuring transactions are smooth, accurate, and compliant with company protocols.
